Jets’ Morrissey and Stanley Game-Time Decisions for NHL Playoff Game 2 vs. Stars

Winnipeg Jets defensemen Josh Morrissey and Logan Stanley are listed as game-time decisions for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars, according to head coach Scott Arniel. Both players participated in Thursday's practice wearing regular contact jerseys, indicating potential readiness for Friday's matchup.

Morrissey exited Game 7 of the first-round series against the St. Louis Blues after a first-period hit from Oskar Sundqvist. Prior to his injury, he contributed three assists over six games and averaged 23:30 of ice time. During the regular season, the 30-year-old tallied 14 goals and 48 assists across 80 games.

Stanley has appeared in five postseason games, recording no points, a minus-2 rating, and accumulating 42 penalty minutes. He was replaced by Haydn Fleury, who logged 33:02 of ice time in the double-overtime Game 7 victory.

The Jets trail the series 1-0 after a 3-2 loss in Game 1, highlighted by Mikko Rantanen's second consecutive hat trick. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. CT, with live coverage on Sportsnet.
