Mark Scheifele and Jason Robertson Return for Game 1 of Jets-Stars Playoff Series

The Winnipeg Jets and Dallas Stars are set to clash in Game 1 of their second-round Western Conference playoff series, with both teams welcoming back key offensive players. Mark Scheifele returns to the Jets' lineup after missing the final two games of the first round due to an undisclosed injury. He had six points (two goals and four assists) in five playoff games before his absence. During the regular season, Scheifele achieved a career-high 87 points, contributing significantly to Winnipeg's Presidents’ Trophy win.

For the Stars, Jason Robertson is back after being sidelined since April 16 with a knee injury. He practiced with linemates Wyatt Johnston and Mason Marchment earlier this week. Robertson led Dallas with 35 goals and was second in points with 80 during the regular season.

While both teams regain offensive firepower, the Jets will be without defensemen Josh Morrissey and Logan Stanley. Morrissey exited Game 7 of the first round early due to a hit into the boards and had three assists in six playoff games. Stanley, who has no points and a minus-2 rating in five postseason games, was replaced by Haydn Fleury in the double-overtime Game 7 victory.

Game 1 is scheduled for Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. CT in Winnipeg. Fans can watch the game live on Sportsnet.
